What this is

Conference Madness is a free prediction game about general conference, run as a personal project. There is no entry fee, no prize, and no money involved anywhere.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nothing here is official, and no prediction made by a player reflects anything but that player's guess.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account. Younger players are welcome to play on a parent's account.
• One account per person. You get two entries with it.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Your username is public. Keep it clean — this is a game people play with their families and their wards.

Your picks are final

When you press Submit picks, that entry locks permanently. It cannot be reopened, by you or by us, and your picks become visible to other players. This is deliberate — it is what stops anyone copying the leader.

Any entry not submitted locks automatically when the first session begins.

Scoring

Results are entered by hand after each session and reviewed before publishing. Mistakes are possible. If a question turns out to be unanswerable or ambiguous it may be voided, in which case its points are removed from everyone's total — including the people who guessed it right.

Scoring decisions are final. It is a game about neckties.

Being a decent person

Do not use an offensive username, try to break the game, use anyone else's account, or scrape or hammer the site. Accounts doing any of that get removed without notice.

Treat the subject matter with respect. Guessing what color tie President Oaks wears is affectionate fun. Anything mocking is not welcome here.

Emails and texts

If you tick the box at signup, you agree to receive emails and texts about Conference Madness at the address and number you gave us. Most will arrive around conference weekend, and never for anything but this game.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, HELP for help. Emails carry an unsubscribe link. Agreeing to messages is never required to play, and you can withdraw at any time.

No guarantees

This game is provided as-is. It may go down, lose data, or score something wrong. It is run by one person for fun, not by a company with a support desk. Please do not rely on it for anything that matters.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that actually affects you, we will say so plainly rather than quietly updating this page. The date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.
